Description

Lilith, a she-demon from Babylon times, is cast in a natural bronze alloy of copper and tin. Yellow brass was used for her boots and wings and hat.

The ferruginous hawk on her arm was given a ferric nitrate patina for a rich brown colour.

Lilith is sitting on a tree stump cast in silicon bronze that was darkened with a liver of sulphur patina.

The sculpture is mounted on a walnut base.
